Mup
An Overview
Let's cite the documentation:
Mup is a shareware program for printing music. It takes an
input file containing ordinary (ASCII) text describing
music, and produces PostScript output for printing the
musical score described by the input. Arkka Enterprises was
established to make Mup readily available at low cost to
anyone who would like to use Mup.
Mup is written by Arkkra Enterprises and can be found

I am in no way related to Arkkra Enterprises, I'm just a happy
(and registered :-) user of that nice software.
To give OS/2 users a chance to try it out I offer a binary
distribution of Mup. By default it ships with full source code.
Registration is done via a file which you receive after paying
the registration fee (currently about 29$), i.e. you don't need
another executable.
You have to visit the homesite, since my package does not include
any documentation (except the man page).
The official documentation is available in HTML and PS format.
To use Mup you need a Postscript printer or
Ghostscript.
All archives available here are packed using
INFO-ZIP:
-
Mup 4.5
(1st build, 20031018; 302110 Bytes)
Just extract the archive and place mup.exe somewhere in your
%PATH%.
The registration file which will be sent to you from
Arkkra Enterprises (this is not included in the package!) has to be
placed in the directory where your %HOME% environment variable
points to. If you haven't set up such a directory you need to do so now!
